Class Description
In the duration of a semester, the course will offer: Age-appropriate training in a specified style of dance or movement Students will learn to apply Ballet positions for the arms, legs, feet, head, hands, and body directions to other dance genres Students will practice engaging in a classroom environment with learning dances with a partner, composing choreographies, verbalizing ideas, and communicating Students will learn intermediate French language as it applies to Classical Ballet, and study Dance and Music History with Geography and Anthropology included Students will develop and maintain the emotional and physical exercise practices necessary to perform at their best, on command. Students will learn about the necessary lifestyle choices (food, exercise, education) for being a professional performing artist. Each class will offer physical education and exercise study to support their health and wellness Performance quality and emotional awareness such as theatrical acting, confidence, joy, sadness, anger, storytelling, and creating an environment as a performer
